Welcome to KenOGlass.com! Glass has been
around for some thousand years. Ancient people used to use small lamps with a billow to make the flame hot enough to
melt glass. This was the begining of lampworking. I myself am a lampworker, however I use a small torch that generates
enough heat to melt glass inches in diameter. All the glass I use is borosilicate glass or Pyrex as some of you would
know. This glass does however have a tendancy to explode if cooled to quickly, so I use a kiln to fire the artwork
once it is finished giving it a solid finished product. I have been in business and blowing glass since January 2001, and I am a very dedicated
and hard working artist. Some of the pieces that I have made are Perfume Bottles, Oil Lamps, Goblets, Aquatic Sculptures,
Land Sculptures, Jewelry, Marbles, Sun Catchers, Plant Starters and More!! I can handle most custom orders. No two items are exactly the same. Due to the fact that all items are handmade
and no molds are used, please call me to place an order. Thank you for visiting and please check back regularly
for new updates of new work in progress!! Check out my goblets in the Alder Gallery Goblet Show. http://www.alderart.com/drinking%20glass/html/goblet_show_2004%20index.htm ***Lessons are also offered at your home. ***Please call me at 732-684-8925 for further details.
